We’re proud to offer resources and care for our local community.
We meet needs locally through strategic partners. We also process benevolent requests weekly to help those in need.
We are a member of the Faith Council for the City of Centennial to support the mayor in making an impact on homelessness, teen mental health, sex trafficking, and the elderly aging in place in our community. The council is a group of non-profits and churches around Centennial and throughout Arapahoe County.
We also collaborate with other partners, such as:
Iron Sharp Community Foundation
One of the easiest ways to get involved is to donate to our Benevolence Fund. We receive requests weekly from individuals inside and outside of our church family who we try to help in their time of need.
Partner with us in serving foster care children who are in need.
Every child belongs in a healthy, loving family. No other environment has proven to be better suited for or more effective at delivering the safety, stability, and care that is so vitally important to a child’s wellbeing.
Across the United States, however, a hidden crisis has been ravaging our communities. Each year, government child protection agencies are alerted to more than 7 million children¹ who have experienced maltreatment. These reports have resulted in over 400,000 children being removed from their homes and placed in an overburdened foster care system. Not only are too many kids being separated from their families for preventable reasons, but a disproportionate number of children in foster care are Black. Any amount of time spent in foster care is traumatic and has lasting consequences that put kids at high risk for devastating outcomes later in life.
We connect people who can help with people who need help. Right now, in real-time.
Step 1
A child or family in need requires help from a child-serving professional.
Step 2
The child-serving professional vets and types needs into care portal.
Step 3
Care Portal alerts nearby churches and community members to needs.
Step 4
Churches and community members partner to ensure that the child and family is helped.
You can sign up to be a responder in the care portal system to begin helping meet the needs of vulnerable children right here in our local community.
You can give money to meet a need. 💵
You can physically meet a need. 🚐

Whether it’s just to get to know you better or to help you take your next steps, if you call Summit home, we want to connect with you!
Let us know how we can help. All requests must be approved by our Care Elders.
The purpose of the Benevolence Fund is to provide financial assistance to individuals who are in need on an urgent basis. The Benevolence Fund may not be applicable for cases which need long-term financial support. The church has the right to adjust, disapprove or provide assistance other than monetary help when considering a members’ request.
Applicants are not granted financial assistance based on relationships with church leaders or being a significant church contributor. The church does not discriminate between applicants based upon race, color, gender, national origin, age, geographic territory, or disability. The Care Elders may provide short-term (or emergency) assistance to ensure that an applicant has the basic necessities such as food, housing, transportation and medical assistance (including counseling).
The preferred method of providing assistance to pay for the applicant’s need will be paid directly to the business provider. Assistance may also be provided in the form of goods or services. The type of aid that is appropriate depends on the individual’s need and available resources. Completing and signing the application gives the committee approval to contact the vendor where funds are needed.
